What is College Credit Plus?

College Credit Plus is Ohio’s dual enrollment program that provides students in grades 7-12 the opportunity to earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking courses from Ohio colleges or universities. The purpose of this program is to enhance students’ career readiness and postsecondary success, while providing a wide variety of options to college-ready students, at no or limited costs to students and families.

In order to participate, students need to follow the steps listed- keeping in mind state, university and local deadlines. Students will be starting their college transcript/GPA and will need to report their grades to colleges/universities when applying for post secondary education. Students must work with their School Counselors when determining a course plan for CCP.

  • Students can take a variety of courses at any public and participating private college in Ohio
  • Courses can be held at the high school, on a college campus, or online
  • Madeira High School offers four CCP options taught on our campus (Personal Finance, Entrepreneurship, Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry and Accounting).

*Students are required to notify Madeira High School Counseling Department if they plan to participate in College Credit Plus by completing the CCP Intent Form here: CCP Intent Form
